Trinity College, the University of Melbourne’s first residential college, supports more than 1,500 students across its three divisions. The existing Leeper Library within the Evan Burge Building, originally constructed in 1995, no longer met the contemporary learning needs of the College community.

The refurbishment transformed the library into a modern, welcoming and flexible learning environment, increasing student capacity and improving the overall use of space. The project incorporated technology-enabled learning areas, dedicated teaching spaces, meeting rooms, administration and staff areas, enhanced help-desk facilities, refurbished ground-floor amenities and reconfigured landscaping to provide outdoor study areas.

Cohaven provided full quantity surveying services across all stages of the project, supporting the successful delivery of the refurbished facility.
